Steve + Rita 4ever
Steve + Rita 4ever is a drawing that references an electrical box that I saw when I was working at an after-school program in Brownsville. The box was located beside the community room we used, which we later found out had asbestos in it. The wires themselves were a tangle. After I left that position this drawing was a way to meditate on all of the connections that grew between the children in the program, despite difficult and often unsafe circumstances.
